FAIR REGULATIONS
37th INTERNATIONAL FUR FAIR OF KASTORIA
(4 – 7 May 2012)
The Kastorian Fur Association “THE PROPHET ELIAS” as the Organizer of the annual International Fur Fair of Kastoria, undertakes the organization of the 37th INTERNATIONAL FUR FAIR OF KASTORIA and the other events concurrent to this fair.
The objective of this Fair is the promotion of the Fur Industry Products and the direct contact of the fur manufacturers with buyers from abroad and Greece, to their benefit and that of the national economy in general.
A. OPENING HOURS
The Fair will be open daily from 9.00 till 19.00.
B. FAIR AREA
The New Exhibition Center at the Industrial Area of Kastoria will be occupied for the Fair’s needs.
C. GENERAL TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
1. APPLICATIONS
a) The applicant accepts unreservedly, without any exception, all the terms of the present Fair Regulations.
b) Applications for participation in the Fair will be accepted by the Host (Association of the Kastorian Fur Manufacturers) from Monday 12-9-2011 until 10-10-2011.
c) In case that the exhibition area is already covered, the subsequent submitted applications will be received by the Host and will be put on a waiting list.
d) In case that an application for participation is withdrawn by the Host, the advance payment is not reimbursed.
e) The exhibitors ought to settle in due time their payments, by paying the required sums to the banks collaborating with the Association. Any exhibitor that will not have settled in due time his obligations for his participation in the Fair will not be entitled to enter with his merchandise the exhibition area, until he has settled his obligations.
f) Exhibitors who wish to realize a show at their stand ought to notify it to the Association for better scheduling.
2. DISTRIBUTION OF SPACE
a) Priority will be kept strictly about the distribution of the stands to the Exhibitors according to the ground plan of the exhibition area that was formed by the Association (stand location, m2).
b) The Host takes into consideration the ground plan of the exhibition area, which may be changed according to the demands for stands, provided that the used materials and the space allow this.
3. CONFIGURATION SPACE
a) The Exhibitors are entitled to decorate freely their stand.
b) Any works at the stands must be completed two (2) days before the inauguration of the Fair.
c) The exhibitors ought to hand over their stand in the situation they received it. In case that the Host finds any damages, the exhibitor ought to restore them.
4. PASS CARD
Every exhibitor (company) is entitled to obtain the required pass cards.
5. CIRCULATION OF MERCHANDISE
The merchandise must be:
a) transported to the exhibition area with the exhibitor’s care, costs and responsibility from 1-5-2012 till 2-5-2012,
b) accompanied obligatory by a bill of goods,
c) collected by the exhibitors on 8-5-2012, from 10.00 h. till 15.00 h.
d) Exceptionally, companies located outside Kastoria may take their merchandise within one hour after the end of the fair.
e) The merchandise will enter and exit the exhibition area through the auxiliary doors of the building, with the exhibitor’s own responsibility, accompanied by him.
f) Any sale will be carried out according to the rules and regulations of trade transactions.
6. ADVERTISING
a) Advertisements and advertising brochures of the exhibitors are allowed to exist and be distributed only at their stands.
b) Exhibitors are allowed to advertise only the articles they exhibit.
c) Advertisements of political nature are forbidden.
d) Advertising leaflets can be distributed only in a special location that the Host will indicate.
7. PHOTOS – VIDEOS, e.t.c.
a) The Host, Association of the Kastorian Fur Manufacturers, is entitled to use photos, videos, etc, of one or more articles, as well as the space of the fair stands for advertising, or other for the sector’s interest, objectives.
b) In case of photo shooting by exhibitors, there must be a prior agreement with the Association.
c) The Association of the Kastorian Fur Manufacturers has the right to take photos – videos, etc of the whole exhibition area.
d) No other photo shooting is allowed during the hours that the Fair is not open.
e) Photo – video shooting, etc. can be carried out only by a professional photographer who will be approved by the Association of the Kastorian Fur Manufacturers.
8. LIGHTING – POWER SUPPLY
a) The Organizer is responsible for the general lighting of the Exhibition Center.
b) The power supply for the function of machinery or more specific lighting needs is possible, provided that it is requested in due time by the exhibitor and after the approval by the competent electrician of the Fair and the Host.
9. CLEANING
a) All Exhibition areas will be cleaned by the Host.
b) Each stand will be cleaned by the Exhibitor.
10. SAFETY
a) The Association of the Kastorian Fur Manufacturers undertakes the guard of the Fair by trained personnel, from the day of opening till the end of the Fair.
b) The exhibition area will be guarded 24 hours a day.
c) Every exhibitor is obliged to insure the merchandise to be exhibited and bears the full responsibility for any damage or loss throughout the duration of the Fair.
11. OTHER EXPENSES
a) The advertising brochures of the Fair – fuel – public relations – general cleaning, e.t.c. burden the Host.
b) Additional costs: construction of stands – decoration – telephones – lighting – electricity charge - cleaning – furniture – hangers, e.t.c. burden the exhibitor.
12. SPECIAL AGREEMENTS
Any agreement between the Management of the Association of the Kastorian Fur Manufacturers and the Exhibitors takes effect only in written.
