The information highlighted by the study concerning the 43rd International Fur Fair of Kastoria was highly interesting. The study was part of the continual assessment of the Fur Fair by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, of which the Kastorian fur Association is a full member.

The study was carried out on a sample of 110 Exhibitors and 235 Visitors during the Fair by means of questionnaires compiled by the Exhibition Research Institute on behalf of UFI.

According to the study, which was made available to the Kastorian Fur Association, the following observations were made:

More than 80% of the Exhibitors stated that they were moderately to highly satisfied with the attainment of their goals in participating in the Fair (finding new clients, advertising and promotion, contact with pre-existing clients, and direct sales), while 51.89% claimed that attendance of visitors was adequate and 44.34% said that it was moderate.

A percentage of 54.32 of the Exhibitors believes that the 43rd International Fur Fair of Kastoria was better than last year and 40.74% think that it was the same.

A total of 100% of Exhibitors stated that they will be participating in the next year’s event (the 44thInternational Fur Fair of Kastoria).

As far as the Visitors are concerned, the majority was commercial buyers originating from 43 countries, while 7.56% stated they were visiting the Fair for the first time.
